From the moment I met James I knew he was absolutely the right person to sell our property (offering a more personal touch which the bigger agents just can’t!) We were of course delighted when our house sold within days of entering the property market. Dealing mainly with James and Helen, I found them both to be very efficient, honest, transparent and really lovely people. Selling a property is a stressful situation at the best of times, never mind in the middle of a blinking Pandemic but we felt very at ease with these agents. We are extremely thankful for all their hard work, particularly to Helen who worked her socks off and communicated superbly with us every step of the way. 5 stars all the way, keep up the good work guys! My husband and I used Initially used Halford and Homes because they were the agents selling the property that we were seeking to purchase and we hadn’t come across them before. From the initial meeting with James right through to the collection of the keys, they were brilliant throughout. James and Leah kept us updated throughout the pre-offer stage, always providing feedback on viewings within 24 hours. Once an offer was accepted, Helen took over the sales chasing and she was incredible and an absolute asset to the team. James and Helen secured a really good deal for the sale of my apartment all within days of going on the market. Helen looked after me fantastically well, she was so responsive to even the smallest of enquiries that I had and trust me I had loads. We chose H&H because we wanted to avoid large estate agents populated by over-aftershaved wide-boys, and were pleased we did. James and his team are lovely people to deal with. They worked hard to promote the property and gave us sound and timely advice on negotiating a stressful sale in a very short timescale. We do not live in Plymouth, so were really grateful that they were happy to take meter readings etc for us. At one point they even cleaned up a pigeon that had entered the empty property via the chimney. Despite difficult times with Covid they did everything in their power to maintain service and help us out.
